Know the room conditions without adding another display
The compact MOES WSS-FL-TH-A measures indoor air temperature and relative humidity and sends the readings to your phone. Its slim battery-powered body can sit discreetly in the room while the app provides the information and charts.
This model connects directly to a Wi-Fi router and does not need a Zigbee gateway. It has an LED indicator, not a numerical display, and is a sensor rather than a heater controller, infrared remote or standalone safety alarm.
Direct Wi-Fi connection
Uses a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n. Keep the router and Internet service available for remote access; this is not a Zigbee sensor.
MOES / Smart Life / Tuya Smart
Use the app to view temperature and humidity, inspect their charts and set up compatible scenes. The manufacturer manual recommends MOES and also retains support for Tuya Smart and Smart Life.
See changes over time
The app combines readings with a comfort indication and temperature/humidity charts. The comfort symbol belongs to the app, not to a screen on the sensor.
Replaceable batteries
Runs on 2 alkaline AAA / LR03 batteries at 1.5 V each. App battery-level and low-battery notification settings help you know when attention is needed, without a mains power cable.
What you can see and use in the app
Read the air temperature and relative humidity for the place where the sensor is installed. The app charts make it easier to spot a room becoming warmer or drier and compare conditions at different times. Check the latest update before treating an old value as the current condition; no fixed reporting interval or guaranteed history retention is specified here.
The comfort indication summarizes the measured conditions; it does not measure air pollutants, carbon dioxide, smoke or anyone’s body temperature. Select °C or °F in the available temperature-unit settings and check the app battery level. Enable low-battery notifications and phone notification permissions if you want the app to alert you.
Manufacturer illustrations show Alexa and Google Assistant queries for temperature and humidity. Link the supported account and check which readings and voice commands your language and integration expose. A separate voice-assistant device is needed; there is no microphone or speaker feature promised for this sensor.
From a reading to a useful routine
- Bedroom or home office: follow conditions where you spend time and compare how opening a window or changing heating affects that room.
- A dry storage space: watch temperature and humidity trends around stored household items. Measurements are informative, not a certification of storage suitability.
- A room used by children or pets: check the environment remotely while keeping the sensor and batteries out of reach. It does not replace supervision or a medical or safety monitor.
- Compatible automation: use an available temperature or humidity condition in a scene to operate a separately compatible humidifier, heater controller or other actuator. For an ordinary air conditioner, a suitable external controller such as a compatible IR unit is needed; it is not included in the sensor.
- Multiple rooms: use a separate sensor at each location you need to compare. One sensor measures its own surroundings, not the whole home at once.
Before using a scene, confirm the exact sensor condition and target-device action are available. Test both the turn-on and turn-off rules and keep the appliance’s own protections in place. Changes in Wi-Fi, Internet access, batteries or app services can interrupt remote readings or cloud-dependent actions.

Pairing, placement and everyday care
- Install 2 alkaline AAA / LR03 batteries rated 1.5 V each, observing the polarity. Use matching fresh batteries; do not assume batteries are included.
- Connect your phone to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and enable Bluetooth for the setup procedure in the manufacturer manual. Open MOES and sign in.
- Hold the reset button for about 5 s until the LED indicator blinks. In MOES, tap the add control, select the discovered device and enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Wait for connection to finish, name the sensor for its room and open its device page. Check temperature, humidity and battery status, then select the preferred unit and any available notifications.
- Place it securely in the intended room and recheck connectivity there before setting up scenes. Resetting is an onboarding step, not something required before each reading.
For a representative room reading, choose a dry, ventilated position away from direct sunlight, a heater, an air-conditioning outlet or humidifier mist. Let readings settle after moving the sensor. Compare another thermometer only after both have shared the same location and had time to settle.
The stated humidity range is a measurement range, not permission to immerse the sensor or expose it to condensation. Keep the battery compartment dry, do not block its openings and use a soft dry cloth for cleaning. Battery life varies with conditions and connection quality; no fixed lifespan is promised.
Common questions
Do I need a hub?
No Zigbee gateway is needed. This Wi-Fi model connects to the router; use its supported network and app setup.
Why does setup ask for Bluetooth?
The manual uses Bluetooth during device discovery and onboarding. That instruction is not a promise of independent offline Bluetooth monitoring after setup; the listed operating connection is Wi-Fi.
Can it provide a fire or medical alarm?
No such safety function is established for this product. Use it for environmental information and suitable smart-home routines, not as the sole protection for people or valuable contents.
What should I check if readings stop updating?
Check battery condition and polarity, Wi-Fi coverage at the final location, router and Internet availability, and the app’s device status. Do not treat the last stored value as proof that conditions have stayed unchanged.
