Does it run on batteries?
This model requires continuous 5 V / 0.5 A USB-C power. Do not treat its radar function as meaning it is a battery sensor that can be placed without a power source.

The SONOFF SNZB-06P24 detects presence using 24 GHz radar and measures ambient light, so you can use it with compatible smart lighting or a switch in a scene configured for the room.
Monitor presence within the configured area, with ambient-light measurement to support lighting automation setup in your compatible system.
This is SenseGuard Presence Core 24G, model SNZB-06P24. Its 24 GHz radar detects small movements associated with presence rather than relying only on someone passing by. This helps while working at a desk or sitting to read, provided you set the position and range and test detection in your actual seated position.
The manufacturer states a range of approximately 4 metres, with stationary detection within 3 metres when facing the device. This does not guarantee coverage for every room or seating position; furniture, reflections and body orientation affect the result.
Enable or disable seven detection zones, then use Detection Calibration so the sensor learns recurring interference sources in fixed positions. In practice, this lets you focus on the seating area and exclude areas you do not want affecting the scene, rather than increasing sensitivity at random.
After calibration, a supporting system lets you adjust sensitivity and the delay before reporting no presence. A longer delay can reduce repeated switching off when detection briefly drops, but also delays lamp shutoff after you leave; choose it for the room’s use and test the result.
It measures illuminance in lux, with reading calibration and light history on a supporting system. Choose a threshold suited to the room to combine “someone is present” with “light is below a set level”. Avoid aiming it directly at the lamp if that makes the scene repeatedly change; test the activation threshold and off delay after installation.
Listed gateways for this model include ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U and NSPanel Pro. It can also connect to open platforms such as Home Assistant through a suitable coordinator and Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA. ZHA may need the manufacturer’s script and SmartThings may need a driver; update the gateway and integration and check available functions before buying.
Users of some third-party platforms can scan the device code in eWeLink and configure zones and calibration through Bluetooth. This is for setup only, not a replacement for Zigbee during everyday use. Apple Home access requires a compatible Matter bridge, not a direct Matter connection from the sensor. With continuous power, the device also acts as a Zigbee router on the network.
Sleeping-person detection is not guaranteed. The manufacturer warns that breathing movements during sleep may be too subtle for reliable detection. Do not build a scene that could interrupt essential lighting or important ventilation during sleep, and do not use this device for breathing monitoring or medical care.

No. Calibration does not exclude moving-position interference sources such as pets or robot vacuums; account for this when designing the scene.
No; you need a smart lamp or a switch/controller compatible with the platform, then create a scene. The gateway, sensor, power supply and lighting actuator are separate parts.
The sensor communicates over Zigbee. Whether scenes continue without internet depends on the gateway, platform and how the automation runs, not on the sensor alone.

When: Presence is detected in the configured area.
Action: Turn on compatible smart lighting.
Fans, moving curtains, and metal surfaces may affect detection. Calibration does not exclude animals or moving vacuum cleaners; adjust the area and test it under the room’s conditions.
Check that the gateway supports the functions you want; some gateways do not display detection-area and calibration settings.
