Smart control for two lighting circuits with your wall switch
Convert two lighting circuits to smart control with the dual-channel MINI-ZB2GS-L and Zigbee connectivity. Keep using the wall switch, and add a scene to turn off both channels at a time you specify through a gateway that supports scheduling.
Choose the right version for your wiring
This version is designed to work without a neutral wire, with a minimum load of 3 W. The resistive-load limit is 8 A per channel and 12 A for both channels combined; LED limits remain dependent on supply voltage as specified.
What you need for installation
- A compatible Zigbee gateway such as ZBBridge-P or ZBBridge-U; this is not direct Wi-Fi connectivity.
- A single-phase 100–240 V AC / 50–60 Hz supply, for indoor use.
- Wiring without neutral, with a load of at least 3 W.
- A qualified electrician to review the load type, wall-switch wiring, and the limits of each channel and their combined total according to the version’s manual.
Key specifications
| Specification | Details |
|---|---|
| Model | MINI-ZB2GS-L |
| Power supply | 100–240 V AC / 50–60 Hz |
| Maximum resistive load | 8 A per channel / 12 A total |
| Connectivity | Zigbee 3.0 |
| Use | Indoors |
| LED load at 240 V | 300 W per channel / 600 W total |
| LED load at 100 V | 150 W per channel / 300 W total |
Turn off the room lighting at night
When: The time you specify in the scene is reached.
Action: Turn off both lighting channels.
What you need to get started
- A gateway that supports scheduling and two compatible loads within the limits.
- Set up the schedule and test it.
Usage notes
- The scene depends on gateway support and settings; it is not a feature that works without setup.
Usage guidance
Installation with isolation and protection
The electrician disconnects the supply and verifies the absence of voltage before installation or maintenance. An upstream 12 A MCB or RCBO breaker is required according to the manual; a smart off command is not isolation for maintenance.
Matching wiring and load
Use one phase only, and do not connect S1/S2 to neutral or earth. The stated current limits apply to resistive loads and do not imply general compatibility with motors; the electrician must review load suitability before installation.
