Will I know whether the garage door is open or closed?
The relay state describes the control command, not proof of the door’s actual position. Add a compatible door sensor if you want a scene based on whether the door is physically open or closed.

The SONOFF MINI-ZBD relay allows control of devices that accept a dry contact, or small DC loads within the manufacturer’s limits. Connect it to a compatible Zigbee gateway to manage control and schedules through the system.
The NO, COM, and NC terminals provide a choice of normally open or normally closed contact, according to the connected device’s requirements.
Use the app and schedules through a compatible Zigbee gateway. The unit also acts as a router within the Zigbee network.
Think of it as a switch controlling another device’s signal: the output terminals do not provide a ready-made power supply. A qualified installer selects COM with NO or NC according to the device’s wiring diagram; NO is normally open and NC is normally closed. It therefore suits inputs designed for dry-contact control, rather than automatically making any electrical device compatible.
For eWeLink, choose a supporting SONOFF Zigbee gateway. Home Assistant integration is possible through a Zigbee coordinator and ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT, but settings are not identical. ZHA may require the manufacturer’s setup script depending on the integration version. Apple Home connectivity uses a compatible Matter bridge; MINI-ZBD is not a native Matter device. The manufacturer’s table excludes Philips gateways, and SmartThings may require a dedicated driver.

No. The 100–240 V AC supply rating powers the module itself; its output does not accept an AC load. Do not use it as a direct switch for an AC lamp or motor.
Do not use app scenes as a substitute for door safety devices, equipment protection or a certified safety alarm. Check wiring and power-restoration behavior before routine use.

A qualified electrician must carry out installation and maintenance, with the supply disconnected before wiring or touching the terminals. The manufacturer requires a 3A overcurrent protection device in the control-output circuit; this is the protection rating, not an increase in the output load limit.
Do not connect the AC and DC supplies together, and the AC supply must be single-phase only. Accepting AC to power the unit does not mean accepting AC loads at the output; the output supports DC loads only, and an alternating-current load must not be connected to it.
