Control your lighting from the wall and your phone
The MOES Star Ring switch combines clearly defined push buttons and an ambient light ring with smart lighting-circuit control. Choose one, two, or three buttons, in white or a dark finish depending on the option.
Lighting circuits to match your choice
The version’s button count determines the lighting circuits it controls, for switching on and off from the wall or app. This is an on/off model, not a dimmer.
Voice control after linking
Use compatible Alexa and Google Home functions after setting up the gateway and app and linking accounts.
The right preparation before use
- A compatible MOES/Tuya Zigbee gateway and the MOES, Tuya Smart, or Smart Life app; connectivity is Zigbee 3.0, not direct Wi-Fi.
- A 100–240 V AC supply and a qualified electrician to review the load and wall-box suitability.
- It supports wiring with or without neutral according to the version’s diagram; Multi-Control Association requires L+N.
- The current limit is 10 A and resistive-load power is below 2000 W; adding buttons does not multiply the switch’s limit.

When: A button on another switch linked through the app is pressed.
Action: Turn the linked lighting on or off from the second location.
What you need to get started
- Two compatible switches added to the same app and a compatible Zigbee gateway.
- L+N wiring, Multi-Control Association setup, and linking enabled according to the manual.
Usage notes
- This is not a replacement for professional wiring checks, and does not mean connecting two switches arbitrarily to the same load.
- Do not link another button on the same switch using this function.
- Continued linking is not guaranteed if the gateway or network fails.
