Control room lighting from your phone and wall switch

Add smart on/off control to lighting circuits with MOES WM-104 Wi-Fi modules. Choose one, two, three, or four outputs, while retaining a compatible wall switch and installing the module behind it in a suitable box.

Two ways to control lighting

Switch outputs on or off from the app or a compatible wall switch. The manuals support rocker switches and momentary push buttons according to each version’s diagram; the outputs are for on/off switching, not dimming.

Make lighting times part of your routine

Set on and off times in the app. You can use a traditional lamp suitable for the module, without having to replace it with a smart lamp.

Add voice control after linking

Link the app account to a compatible Amazon Alexa or Google Home service after setting up the module. This function requires service setup and the necessary devices; the module is not a standalone voice device.

Choose the right version and preparation

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and the MOES, Tuya Smart, or Smart Life app, without a Zigbee hub. Control outside the home requires internet access; Bluetooth assists setup and does not replace Wi-Fi.
Live L and neutral N wires and a 90–250 V AC supply at 50/60 Hz, with a suitable box and a dry location away from water and moisture.
A qualified electrician must match the wiring to the model and number of outputs.
Single and dual: 10 A per output with a 10 A module total. Triple and four-output: 5 A per output with a 5 A module total; more outputs do not increase capacity.

Turn decorative lighting off at bedtime

When does it run?: At 11 at night according to the schedule you set in the app.

What happens?: Turn off the nonessential decorative-lighting output you choose.

What do you need?

Install the module safely and add it to the Wi-Fi network and app.
Create an off schedule for the required output, with continuous module power and the necessary connectivity.

Usage notes

This example is a setting you create in the app; it is not enabled automatically.
A motion sensor or electricity-consumption metering is not assumed to be built into the module.
Network or service loss may prevent schedule execution; do not rely on it for safety or essential lighting, and keep movement paths safely lit.

Usage guidance

Correct installation and isolation

The electrician must switch off the breaker and use a suitable tester to verify the absence of voltage on every wire before installation, removal, or modification; app switch-off is not maintenance isolation. Terminals and switch wires differ between versions; follow the actual module’s diagram, not another version’s diagram or wire color alone.

Choosing the combined loads

Review loads, their starting currents, wiring limits, and protection according to the module. Do not add each output’s limit to obtain a higher total; the combined loads must remain within the specific version’s limit.

How do I set up the module after installation?

Follow the actual model’s instructions in the app on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, using Bluetooth when requested. Take the pairing method and reset-button press count from this version’s instructions, not another model.
