Single-gang smart wall switch with Wi-Fi and Type-C
Replace a conventional lighting control point with a single-gang switch that combines a local wall button, phone control and an extra Type-C power outlet. This SMATRUL C-Smart version controls one connected lighting circuit; white and black are separate colour choices on this page. It is a mains-powered wall switch, not a battery scene button.
Its value is everyday convenience: turn a suitable light on from the sofa, give family members app access, or organise an evening lighting schedule. It switches the circuit on and off; do not choose it as a brightness dimmer, fan-speed controller or electricity meter.
Direct Wi-Fi connection
Connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for app control. This is the Wi-Fi version, so a Zigbee gateway is not required.
Smart Life / Tuya Smart
Use the app to switch the light, manage schedules and share access. Linked Alexa or Google Home accounts can provide voice commands, subject to service and language support.
A familiar wall control
Keep a local on/off button for daily use without opening an app. The small indicator and lower locating strip help identify the switch position.
Timers and power-return choices
Build routines with the supported timer modes and choose the relay state after power returns. Review these settings after installation rather than leaving unexpected automation active.
One circuit, several ways to use it
At the wall, use the button for ordinary switching. Through Smart Life or Tuya Smart, you can check and change the switch state while the device is connected. Remote access away from home depends on the home network, Internet connection and cloud service; an offline reminder is a connectivity notice, not a fault diagnosis or emergency alarm.
- Share the device with authorised household members instead of sharing your account password. Group compatible switches for a room-wide action; grouping does not create extra physical outputs on this single-gang unit.
- Alexa and Google Home are the principal voice options shown for this family. Other manufacturer-listed integrations, including SmartThings, depend on the actual account service, region and available device functions; they are not universal platform guarantees.
Turn useful routines into clear actions
The manufacturer lists 5 timer modes. Their names and menu layout can vary with the app version, so test a short routine first and remove conflicting schedules.
- Schedule: choose a clock time for an action, such as turning hallway lighting on in the evening. Countdown: request an action after a chosen delay.
- Cycle: repeat on/off periods where the connected lighting is suitable. Random: vary timing within the available app settings; this is a convenience routine, not a security guarantee.
- Inching: use the available short-duration return action for an appropriate lighting routine. This does not turn the switch into a dry-contact gate controller.
Type-C power and optional RF control
A useful low-power outlet
The Type-C output is specified as DC 5 V / 1 A. It can supply a compatible low-power C-Smart accessory or provide slow charging to a suitable device. Check the accessory input and connector fit; a matching connector alone does not establish electrical or app compatibility.
The switch does not become a temperature sensor, camera or motion detector because such accessories appear in a family illustration. Accessories and an RF remote are separate items unless your selected package explicitly includes them. Fast charging, USB data transfer and independent remote switching of the Type-C outlet are not claimed.
Pair a compatible RF433 remote
RF offers another convenient local control point, for example near a bed or seat. The stated range is up to 100 m in an open unobstructed environment, not a guaranteed distance through walls. Use a compatible learning remote; RF433 is not proof that every remote on that band will work.
- The manufacturer illustrates learning by quickly pressing the switch button 5 times, then the desired remote button 2 times. Confirm the result on the installed unit.
- The illustrated clear operation is 8 quick switch-button presses. Use it only when you intend to remove the learned RF association, not as a routine way to switch a light.

Check the installation, then connect the app
A neutral conductor is required at the installation point. Have a qualified electrician check the supply, actual unit label, connected load type and wall-box depth. The front plate is 86 × 86 mm; that does not establish the required recess depth or a suitable rating for every LED driver or motor. Do not transfer ratings from a different gang count or a no-neutral version.
- Complete and inspect the mains installation with the power safely isolated. Follow the terminal markings and instructions supplied with the actual unit, not a multi-gang illustration.
- Connect the phone to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and enable Bluetooth for discovery. Open Smart Life or Tuya Smart and allow the permissions needed to add the device.
- Hold the wall button until its indicator flashes rapidly, then use the app’s discovered-device prompt or add-device flow. Follow the Wi-Fi credentials prompt and wait for completion.
- Give the light a clear room name. Test wall control, app on/off, the desired timer and power-return choice before adding voice control or optional RF accessories.
Before you choose
Can I install it without a neutral wire?
No. The matching Type-C version explicitly requires neutral. Do not substitute the instructions for a visually similar no-neutral switch or assume an added capacitor makes this version compatible.
Does Bluetooth replace Wi-Fi when Internet is unavailable?
Not for this product. The manufacturer describes Bluetooth as part of network connection and says it cannot be used alone. Keep local wall control and a compatible paired RF remote distinct from cloud app control.
Can another smart switch control the same light?
The family supports app multi-control association with compatible switches where that option is available. Have the wiring and intended behaviour checked; app association is not permission to connect multiple powered outputs together or to copy a multi-gang wiring picture.
What if the light switches unexpectedly?
Check schedules, countdowns, cycle/random/inching settings, group scenes and shared users first. If the behaviour continues or the switch becomes damaged, stop using it and have the installation checked; do not assume it is only an app problem.
