Smart Human Presence Sensor (mmWave 24GHz) + Light Sensor — Zigbee 3.0
This isn't just ordinary "movement"... this is presence . Millimeter-wave radar detects a person's presence even if they're stationary (reading/sitting) and adds a light sensor (Lux) for smart decisions: turn on the lights only when it's dark and someone is present. It works via Zigbee and requires a compatible Zigbee gateway within the Tuya/Smart Life system.

Important: This device works via Zigbee , not Wi-Fi Direct — meaning a Zigbee hub is required for it to appear in the app and function automatically. Also, the device is AC-powered (not battery-operated).
Why is this sensor "smarter" than PIR?
Presence is real: it detects presence even with very little movement, unlike PIR which relies on temperature changes.
Light sensor: Lux measurement to implement “only turn on the light if the place is dark”.
Detection distance adjustment: Ready levels 1m / 2m / 4m / 6m depending on the location.
Smart delay: Setting a time off/exit after absence from 10 seconds to 30 minutes .
Wide angle: 120° coverage for corridors, rooms and open spaces.
Zigbee is a reliable provider: a stable connection suitable for automation (with Zigbee power boosters on when needed).
Realistic use cases
- Meeting rooms: Turn on the lighting/air conditioning when people are present, and turn it off after a delay when everyone has left.
- Bedrooms: Soft lighting when arriving at night + automatic shut-off after departure.
- Offices and salons: Keep devices running during quiet sitting (reading/computer) without annoying shutdowns.
- Energy saving: Turn off the lights and air conditioning when no one is there for a long time.
The best place to install it is on the ceiling or wall so that it covers the seating/work area. Avoid pointing it directly at strong fans or constantly moving curtains to minimize unnecessary stimulation.
