Important Usage and Setup Notes
- Required Depth: To ensure reading accuracy, the pot soil depth must be at least 12 cm, and the soil must completely cover the "BEST" insertion mark on the probe.
- Insertion Method: Insert the sensor very gently into the soil to avoid bending or breaking the probe. Avoid touching stones or the bottom of the pot. If the soil is too hard, water it until soft before insertion.
- Hydroponics: This sensor is not intended for hydroponic plants, as conductivity readings in pure water are inaccurate and will not reflect the true state of the roots.
- Maintenance: When moving the sensor from one pot to another, ensure the probe is thoroughly wiped and cleaned to ensure sensor stability and accuracy.
- Network: This device requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network to operate (does not support 5GHz).
