The device's concept is simple yet effective: a small arm that presses a button or switch for you, but is controlled via a mobile phone or voice commands. With this concept, you can transform:

• Convert traditional light switches to smart switches without replacing them.
• The button sets the coffee machine or kettle to operate automatically at a specific time.
• The doorbell button or access control system is controlled remotely and automated.
• Hard-to-reach device buttons (top of a shelf, behind furniture, etc.) are made available for convenient mobile control.

All you have to do is attach the robot next to the button using the included adhesive, adjust the arm movement from the app, then link it to scenes and schedule it in your smart home to work automatically according to your lifestyle.

Technical explanation and device operation

This smart squeeze robot uses Zigbee wireless connectivity, meaning it first connects to a compatible Zigbee hub/gateway , then appears on the Tuya/Smart Life app like any other smart device. Without the hub, the device will not appear in the app and will not function remotely.

The device relies on an internal CR2 battery (included with the product at the time of purchase), which provides stable operation with low power consumption thanks to the Zigbee protocol, to benefit from automation and remote control for long periods without the need for frequent battery changes.

After linking it to the hub, you can use the app to:

• Manual control (on/off) from within the application.
• Adjust the range of arm movement to suit the shape of the button or switch.
• Create schedules to turn certain devices on/off at fixed times.
• Incorporating it into automation scenarios (e.g., turn on the lights at sunset, turn everything off when you leave the house).
• Voice control via Alexa and Google Assistant by linking the Tuya account to the voice account (requires a compatible Zigbee Hub).
