Compatibility and important observations

  • Wi-Fi only: Does not work with RF 433/868MHz remotes.
  • Compatibility test before purchase: Short-circuit the ends of the wall button on the motor panel. If the door opens/closes, the unit is compatible.
  • Signal strength: A good Wi-Fi signal is required near the door motor—if it is weak, a signal booster is recommended.
  • Bluetooth: Used only for the setup process, does not function as a standalone mode.

Quick installation steps

  1. Disconnect the electrical power to the garage door motor.
  2. Connect the power supply to the L/N terminals (AC 100–240V).
  3. Connect S1/S2 to the two terminals of the wall button on the motor panel (dry contact).
  4. Attach the magnetic sensor to the door/frame, then connect its cable to S3/S4 .
  5. Restart the power supply.
  6. Open the Smart Life/Tuya app, activate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, then press the pairing button for 5 seconds to add the device.
  7. Test the opening and closing, and set alerts and schedules.
