This white glass wall switch adds on/off and speed control to a compatible ceiling fan. Use its touch panel when you enter the room, or Smart Life / Tuya Smart when you would rather adjust the fan without getting up. It connects directly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, without a Zigbee hub.
The pictured version has three touch zones and no numerical speed display. It is a wired fan controller, not a battery remote, a universal controller for every motor, or a combined fan-and-light switch.

Choose how you want to control the fan
Wall and app control
Use the central power symbol for on/off and the fan controls to adjust speed. In the app, open the fan’s page to check its reported state and use the available controls. This is an alternative way to operate a compatible fan, not a measurement of room temperature or airflow.
Voice control
The matching product material supports Amazon Alexa and Google Home. First add the switch to Smart Life / Tuya Smart, then link the corresponding account in your chosen voice platform. Use a clear room-based device name, such as “bedroom fan”. Available commands depend on the platform and the functions it exposes; do not assume every speed command is supported.
Timing, groups and sharing
Use app schedules for a regular routine, and review the selected days and on/off action before saving. Grouping is useful when compatible fan controllers should respond together; it does not mean multiple motors can be wired to a single switch. Share access through the app rather than sharing your account password. App screens can change between software versions.
Practical ways to use it
- Bedroom: adjust the fan from bed and set an off time that suits your routine, instead of leaving it running unintentionally.
- Living room or home office: change the setting from your phone while reading, working or relaxing, while retaining familiar wall controls for anyone in the room.
- Several rooms: give each compatible fan controller a clear name, then use supported groups for coordinated control. Each installation still needs its own compatibility and load check.
- Away from home: check the fan’s reported state and turn it off through the app when both ends are online. This is convenience control, not a safety-monitoring service.

Check the fan and wall box before choosing it
A neutral conductor is required at the switch location. Have a qualified electrician check the fan motor, its existing regulator or electronic receiver, the actual switch label, supply voltage, load and wall-box space before installation. The model of the fan—not just the fact that it is a ceiling fan—determines compatibility.
This version controls the fan, not an integrated lamp. Do not treat it as a lamp dimmer or assume it replaces the electronics of a fan with its own remote-control system. Motor type, any capacitor arrangement and permissible fan load must be confirmed for the exact equipment; no universal AC/DC-motor compatibility is promised.
From installation to everyday control
If pairing fails, check the Wi-Fi password, 2.4 GHz band, signal at the wall position and whether the indicator is in the required pairing state. The matching instructions do not establish Bluetooth control, so this listing does not promise it.
- After the electrician has completed the installation, check the wall controls and normal fan operation before configuring the network.
- Install Smart Life or Tuya Smart from your phone’s official app store, sign in, and have the password for the home’s 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network ready.
- Put the switch into pairing mode. The guide for the pictured three-zone panel shows holding the upper fan button for 30 seconds until the indicator flashes. Follow the supplied unit instructions if they differ.
- In the app, choose Add Device, select the Wi-Fi switch category shown in the guide, enter the network password and follow the pairing prompts. Confirm the indicator state requested by the app.
- Name the fan by room, test on/off and speed in the app, then add any schedules, household sharing or voice-account link you want. Check each routine once before relying on it.
Before you decide
Does it need a separate smart-home hub?
No Zigbee hub is required. This is the Wi-Fi version and uses a compatible 2.4 GHz network. Remote app and cloud voice functions require internet access.
Will it work with every ceiling fan?
No blanket compatibility is claimed. Send the fan’s exact model and electrical label for a compatibility check, especially if it has an electronic controller, its own remote or an integrated light.
What happens after a power cut?
The exact stock’s power-return behaviour has not been independently confirmed. Do not assume it remembers the previous on/off state or speed; have this checked during commissioning if it matters to your routine.
Can schedules or remote control be relied on without the internet?
The wall touch panel provides local operation while the switch is powered. Internet-dependent app and voice functions may be unavailable during a network outage; offline schedule execution is not guaranteed for this version.
