Tuya Zigbee Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensor – Accurate Water Tank Monitoring

Monitor the water/liquid level inside the tank directly from the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app with high/low level alerts, and a measurement range of up to 5 meters .
Important: This version works via Zigbee 3.0 and requires a Zigbee Gateway .

What makes this sensor special?

Ultrasonic measurement : Measures the distance to the liquid surface from the top of the tank and converts it to a level/depth value.
High/Low Alerts : Monitor the status (Normal / Full Alarm / Low Alarm) according to the alert limits you define.
Monitor from anywhere : via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app (with an internet-connected Zigbee gateway).
Setup button (Touch Key) : Press and hold for 5 seconds to enter setup/pairing mode.
LED status light :
- Setting mode: LED flashes rapidly.
- Connected: LED steady (ON).
- Off: LED turns off slowly/slow flashing.

Important note before purchasing: A Zigbee gateway is required for this sensor to work with the app. (Gateway separate from sensor)

Important installation notes (to ensure a correct reading)

Mount the sensor vertically on top of the tank so that the ultrasonic sensor is facing the water surface directly.
Keep away from the edges/inner walls : Installing the sensor too close to the tank wall/barrier may cause a pseudo-echo and inaccurate readings.
Do not place obstructions within the measurement area (such as a tube/float/wire) within the “reflective zone” in front of the sensor.
The transmission angle is approximately ±15° ; therefore, the water surface must be within the transmission cone without obstructions.
Approximate requirements for the diameter of the measuring area (D) based on the height of the tank (H) :
- H = 4m ⇒ D > 2m is preferred
- H = 3m ⇒ D > 1.6m is preferred
- H = 2m ⇒ D > 1.1m is preferred
The opening : A mounting opening larger than 55 mm is required (as per the drawing).

Electrical warning: The device operates on DC 5V/1A . Use a good power adapter, keep the wires away from moisture, and ideally have installation performed by a technician if necessary.

How does it work within the application?

Displays liquid percentage/depth and level status (Normal / Upper Alarm / Lower Alarm).
You can set a maximum and minimum limit for sending alerts.
The level change chart is displayed for review and follow-up.
It is possible to add more than one sensor within the same account.
