Control and monitor a three-phase circuit from your phone
TOQCB2-JWT-4C63 combines a four-pole miniature circuit breaker with app switching and energy monitoring. Check voltage, current and power for each phase, review consumption and arrange operating times in Tuya Smart or Smart Life.
The supplied stock is the TONGOU TOQCB2-80 body marked C63, for three phases plus neutral. This is the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi version, not Zigbee, and it is not the TOQCB2L earth-leakage version. A qualified electrician must select and install it for the circuit.
Direct Wi-Fi connection
Connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with adequate signal at the distribution board. Off-site app control requires an internet connection.
App and manual control
Check status and switch through Tuya Smart or Smart Life. The linked front handle provides manual operation on the device.
Three-phase monitoring
View voltage, current and power for each phase, alongside accumulated energy consumption in the app.
Operating schedules
Arrange on/off schedules, countdowns or repeating routines to suit the connected equipment. Review the circuit before enabling unattended operation.
Understand the circuit’s readings and consumption
Phase-by-phase readings
The app provides views for phases A, B and C and total consumption. This helps you compare circuit activity rather than judging it only by the position of the breaker handle. The manufacturer also lists power factor, frequency and temperature monitoring; displayed fields depend on the device and app version.
Consumption history and operation records
Review energy statistics in the app and compare usage over its available reporting periods. The event log records switching activity, including remote opening and closing. Example dates and readings in supplier images are illustrations, not a promised data-retention period.
The manufacturer specifies Class 1 energy measurement for this series. This is a monitoring feature, not a promise of independently certified billing, solar-export accounting or guaranteed electricity savings.
App routines and controls on the breaker
Schedules, countdown and repeating timers
Use app schedules to set operating times, a countdown for a timed change, or a loop routine for repeated on/off periods. Available functions depend on the linked app and supplied firmware. A schedule must suit the load; it is not permission to restart machinery unattended.
Status indicators, sharing and local operation
The front provides a linked operating handle, a pairing button, contact-indicator windows and separate network/switch status indicators. The manufacturer manual describes a steady blue switch-status light as open and a steady red light as closed. Network indications distinguish offline, pairing and connected states.
Tuya Smart / Smart Life supports sharing access with another authorized user. Keep access limited to people who understand which circuit they can operate. The manual also lists voice control through supported connected services; it does not guarantee every assistant or offline operation.
Maintenance controls are not electrical isolation
The TOQCB2-80 drawing identifies a physical lock that prevents closing when engaged, and a separate maintenance protection switch. These controls do not replace an electrician’s isolation, lockout and verification procedure. Neither an app OFF command nor an indicator proves the terminals are safe to touch.
Breaker protection and adjustable electronic settings
The device is a C-curve MCB marked C63. Its label shows 10000 A breaking capacity, consistent with the manufacturer’s 10 kA Icu specification for the TOQCB2-80 four-pole series. This is the manufacturer’s rating, not a claim that this individual unit has been independently tested.
The manufacturer describes overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overpower and temperature functions, with alarm/trip choices where supported. Electronic settings do not change the physical C63 rating and must be chosen by a qualified electrician for the wiring and load.
The operating manual limits automatic reclosing to overvoltage or undervoltage events. Do not assume automatic reclosing after an overcurrent, short circuit or any other fault. The installer must confirm the supplied firmware’s behavior and whether automatic restart is appropriate.
A clearer view of a suitable three-phase circuit
For an appropriately designed home, shop or workshop distribution circuit, check phase readings and consumption before changing operating schedules. An electrician must confirm the load type, inrush current, conductor sizing, supply arrangement and required protection.
- Compare phase activity and consumption during working hours, then review whether the operating schedule needs adjustment.
- Check the state of a correctly identified circuit remotely instead of relying on memory; network availability still matters.
- Use operation records to understand when the circuit was switched. Do not treat the app as an emergency-stop or safe-isolation system.

Installation, connection and commissioning
The four-pole main circuit and the auxiliary control-power terminals have different roles. The main device is marked 400 V, while the supplied-model angled photo identifies the auxiliary L/N input as 165–265 V AC. Do not apply a main-circuit voltage to the control terminals by assumption; follow the supplied unit’s own markings and confirmed wiring instructions.
The manufacturer’s series table contains an inconsistent control-supply voltage entry. For installation, the electrician must resolve any discrepancy against the actual unit and the supplier rather than combining conflicting values.
- Have an electrician confirm that this 3P+N, C63 model suits the supply, circuit and required protection. Install it on a 35 mm DIN rail in suitable enclosed distribution equipment.
- Follow the exact unit’s wiring diagram, terminal markings and supplied installation instructions. The neutral and separate control-power arrangement must be checked before energizing.
- Use Tuya Smart or Smart Life with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. After safe commissioning, follow the app’s add-device flow; the manual describes holding the pairing button for 5–10 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- Confirm the device identity and circuit name, then check status, readings and the required manual/app controls. Keep remote access restricted to authorized people.
- Have the installer review protection settings, schedules and any voltage-reclosing behavior before relying on automatic operation.
Common questions
Does an app current setting change the C63 rating?
No. The breaker remains rated C63. An electronic threshold is a separate setting and must be selected by a qualified professional for the circuit.
Does it include earth-leakage protection?
No. The non-L TOQCB2 model does not include residual-current protection. The TOQCB2L family is different; an electrician must provide any required separate protection.
Does this version need a Zigbee hub?
No. This is the Wi-Fi version and connects to a suitable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. It is not the JZT Zigbee version.
Can I operate it if the internet is unavailable?
The physical handle remains available for manual operation. Do not assume remote app, voice commands or every timed/cloud function will work without the required network services.
Will it automatically turn back on after every trip?
No such behavior is promised. The manufacturer manual describes automatic reclosing only after overvoltage or undervoltage protection; the installer must verify the actual firmware and load suitability.
Is app OFF enough before working on the circuit?
No. App switching, status lights, the maintenance switch and closing lock are not substitutes for proper electrical isolation and verification by a qualified electrician.
